  • Netball success
    The netball team competed in their first match of the season against Friars Grove. The team performed brilliantly and secured a fantastic 15-1 victory.
  • Summer Fair 2018
    We had another successful fair on Thursday 5th July. The children in Years 5 and 6 did a great job of planning, preparing and manning their stalls. Close to £2000 was raised for the school.
  • Prettygate Prom 2018
    The Year 6 Prom was a huge success yet again this year. The children had a fantastic time and behaved impeccably, though we're not sure about their dance moves.
  • Upper School Sports' Day
    The upper school sports' day was a great success this week and all the children supported each other brilliantly. Jupiter were the overall winners.
  • Year 6 WWII Homework
    As part of their World War 2 topic, Year 6 were asked to create one of the following: an Anderson shelter, a Victory garden, a tank, a spitfire or a gas mask.
  • Years 5 & 6 Garrison Sports
    Last Monday the Year 5 and 6 athletics team took part in the Colchester athletics competition at the Garrison track.
  • Year 6 trip to IWM Duxford
    On Thursday 14th June, Year 6 visited the Imperial War Museum at Duxford.
  • PlayPod Grand Opening
    This week, our new PlayPod was officially unveiled to the children and they have been making great use of it during their lunchtimes.
  • PlayPod at Prettygate
    You may have heard from your child that we now have a large shipping container on our back playground.
  • Year 4 Viking Day
    On Tuesday 24th April, Prettygate Junior School was invaded by Vikings!
