Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is additional funding for the school from the Government, based on the number of pupils eligible, or who have been eligible, for free school meals (FSM) within the last six years, have parents in the armed services, are looked after by the local authority or who have been adopted from local authority care. The funding is designed to address the current underlying inequalities in academic progress and attainment between these pupils and their peers. Each school can make its own decisions about how to best spend the Pupil Premium but must account for it and demonstrate its impact.
